“The Bear Complex”
Complete the sequence of all the movements below 7 times WITHOUT setting the bar down for 5 rounds. There is NO time factor with this WOD. Attempt to go up in weight with each round.
- Power Clean (tap and go on subsequent power cleans)
- Front Squat
- Press
- Back Squat
- Rear Press
 
The “Bear” had no chance with you all! Great work today.

When did you first start doing CrossFit? – March 2011

 

What fitness activities were you doing before? – Absolutely none!!

 

List three words to describe your very first CrossFit workout. – Difficult, Scary, Fun!!

 

What results have you seen since you joined the En Fuego Family? – Well, the first day I could not run around the building one time ( not even exaggerating! ) and now I can run a whole bunch!!!  That is HUGE for me!! 

 

What do you like most about CF? – Jen and Pete, of course!!  Really!!  Also, it is the ability to “modify” so I can actually be successful and complete workouts and feel a part of what is going on.

 

What is your favorite CF exercise? – I just love them all, well so many.. so difficult to choose a favorite!

 

Your least favorite? – Have to say wall balls and pull ups (since I have such difficulty with these!)..and burpees..ugh!

 

What CF accomplishment are you currently most proud of? – When I can complete a WOD with minimal “modifications”..and the fact that I can climb over that wall…

 

What CF goal are you working towards? – I want to complete a WOD without modifications! Specifically want to do a pull up without using “all the bands” in the gym!

When did you first start doing CrossFit? – I started crossfit in September at 31 Heroes

What fitness activities were you doing before? – Actives before doing crossfit was soccer, football, and volleyball

List three words to describe your very first CrossFit workout. – Intense, challenging, and awesome

What results have you seen since you joined the En Fuego Family? – I have more energy then I have ever had and my motivation to push myself is stronger then ever.

What do you like most about CF? – What I like most about crossfit is the encouragement and support from everyone at the gym. I couldn’t ask for more greater people in such a great place.

What is your favorite CF exercise? – Butterfly pull-ups and cleans

Your least favorite? – One arm kettle bell snatches!!

What CF accomplishment are you currently most proud of? – Entering a Crossfit competition at TNL and placed 7th place

What CF goal are you working towards? – Doing well in the open and to compete in the games, its a high goal but with my new EnFuego family support I feel anything is possible.
